Spelling - Study for the Lesson 28 test in class this Friday.

Grammar - Complete page 162.

Composition - Write your final draft for Lesson 12.  It is to be a reduction paraphrase and should include 2 figures of description of your choice.  At the end of your paraphrase, list the 2 figures of description and label them according to their proper name.

Practice your dramatic presentation of paraphrase 1 from Lesson 12.  You may dress up for your role if you want to.  You may use your written paper, but I highly recommend that you retell the story from memory from the point of view you have chosen.

Spelling - Complete page 115 and study the list words.

Grammar - Complete page 159.

Composition - Write paraphrase 2, a reduction of the narrative, as explained on page 59.  Practice telling the point of view narrative from the first written paraphrase.

Spelling - Complete page 113 and do page 114.  Study the list words.

Grammar - Review as needed from units 1-11.  When you are finished, complete Test 6.  You do not have to finish the test all at one time as it is long, but once you have started the test - you may NOT refer back to your text book for any reason once you have looked at the test.

Spelling - Complete page 103 and study the list words.

Grammar - Complete Exercise G on page 128.  Do an excellent job!

Spelling ~ Complete pages 101 - 102.

Grammar ~ Complete Exercise D on page 127.

Composition ~ Practice orally dramatizing your Paraphrase 1 of Lesson 12.  You may dress up if you want to in order to play the role of the character whose perspective you chose for the story.  Take this seriously and prepare mentally to give your dramatic monologue in class this Friday WITHOUT laughing through the story.

Spelling ~ Study for the test on Lesson 21.

Grammar ~ Edit the paragraphs from Friday's assignment.  Also, complete pages 126 through the top of page 127.

Composition ~ Complete the page 57 paraphrase including the figures of description; remember to read the instructions.

Spelling ~ Do pages 87 and 88, but not the report on page 88.

Grammar ~ Complete page 125, Exercise B.

Composition ~ Re-read the story for Lesson 12.  Then, complete Variations, Part I, on page 56.
