Composition ~ Practice orally dramatizing your Paraphrase 1 of Lesson 12.  You may dress up if you want to in order to play the role of the character whose perspective you chose for the story.  Take this seriously and prepare mentally to give your dramatic monologue in class this Friday WITHOUT laughing through the story.

Spelling ~ Study for the test on Lesson 21.

Grammar ~ Edit the paragraphs from Friday's assignment.  Also, complete pages 126 through the top of page 127.

Composition ~ Complete the page 57 paraphrase including the figures of description; remember to read the instructions.

Composition ~ Re-read the story for Lesson 12.  Then, complete Variations, Part I, on page 56.

Composition ~ Choose a character from the story from Lesson 12.  Tell the story in you own words from the perspective of that character.  Practice doing this out loud until you remember the major scenes of the story; give some of the important details that make the story interesting.
