When you are ready to take the test, you may do so ~ it is due Tuesday.

Re-read to understand pages 53-54 and page 57 ~ all about infinitives and gerunds.

Be ready to recite all state-of-being, linking, and helping verbs on Tuesday.

Gerunds and Root Cards

Complete pages 59-60 carefully.  Think through each sentence as you do it, understanding how to recognize the gerund phrase as the part of speech that it is in that sentence. 

Look back to pages 57-58 and review recognizing infinitive phrases.

Study your Root Cards.  We will have a Winner's Circle competition on Friday, and you will have a take home test on Roots 25-36.

Read to understand page 49 in your grammar book and do page 50.  Review everything to do with pronouns, between pages 43 and 49.
