For the First Day !

The supplies needed are as follows:

1 ring-binder (about a 2" should be adequate for the year), with loose leaf notebook paper.
1 half-inch ring-binder, with clear sheet protectors (for final drafts of compositions).
a pen and a pencil
a tool to hold the 3x5" vocabulary cards: your choice of a large metal ring clip, a 3x5 card box, or those convenient ring binders made to hold 3x5 cards.  It looks like this:

These will accompany the Student Book of Medieval History-Based Writing Lessons, of IEW.
